The school principle is a administrator and leader in the field of education. A principle has the responsibility to implement policies, inform students and faculty, communicate, and manage situations. The principle in question was involved in a situation which required leadership abilities to resolve. He was responsible for the management and implementation of school procedures and policy regarding multiple absences; ten absences and a student flunked the class and if a Senior, they do not graduate. This responsibility included executing school policy, reinforcing faculty positions, and informing the student and his parents, of the required action of failing the student; carrying through with this action was needed to ensure proper guidance for all students. Although attempts were made to resolve the situation, nothing happened. This principle demonstrated very little leadership ability.
