Lisa Leslie

Lisa Leslie is the star player for the Women's National Basketball Association. Leslie is from Hawthorne, California, and is 25 years of age ("Lisa Leslie"). She was a member of the 1996 U.S. Women's Gold Medal Olympic Team in Atlanta and has since been the star center of the Los Angeles Sparks, a team in the new WNBA. She has also been a Special Correspondent for NBA Inside Stuff, a Nike endorser, a model for the Wilhemina Modeling Agency, an actress, and holds contracts for endorsements with Pepsi, Sears, and General Motors. Leslie is also the CEO of Lisa L. Enterprises, her own company (Korder Carreras).

Leslie treats her career in part as something to be nurtured as a way of giving back to the community. For one thing, she recognizes that she is a role model and tries to make this a benefit for others
