Independent variables in the study consisted of selected college demographics and the Testing Variable (Before Implementation of Program; After First-Year of Program Implementation; After Second-Year of Program Implementation).
Twenty-seven Admissions Officers, one from each of the private, four year colleges in the state of Michigan, served as sample subjects. A cover letter, along with a copy of the research instrument was sent to the President of each college. This cover letter explained the nature of the study and requested that the President participate in the study by giving the research instrument to one of the college's Admissions Officers.
