SURVEY OF EMPLOYEE PERCEPTIONS AT THE SADIE G. MAYS MEMORIAL NURSING HOMEThe results of a survey of employee perceptions at the Sadie G. Mays Memorial Nursing Home are presented in this research. These results are presented in four discussions, as follows: 1. An overview of the survey results are presented in the first discussion. This overview both describes and explains the findings. 2. Current trends in human resources management are reviewed in the second discussion. The relationship between the survey findings and these trends is developed. 3. The significance to human resources management at the Sadie G. Mays Memorial Nursing Home of the survey results is developed in this discussion. The general trends in human resources management are also considered in terms of significance for the nursing home organization. 4. A summary of the study and a statement of conclusions drawn provide the substance of the final discussion. The conclusions related specifically to human resource management at the Sadie G. Mays Memorial Nursing Home. The survey of employees at the Sadie G. Mays Memorial Nursing Home measured perceptions in four categories. These categories were (1) work conditions, (2) organizational communications, (3) compensation and benefits, and (4) institutional management. Institutional Management
Employee perceptions were measured with respect to six factors associated with institutional management at the Sadie G. Mays Memorial Nursing Home.
