In the year 1998, after graduating from high school, I was awarded First Place in the University of Pernambuco mathematics contest (Vestibular 1999). I won First Place in the same contest in 1999 (Vestibular 2000). As the winner of the prestigious contest two years in a row, I merited the attention of the State Secretary of Education, Dr. Efrem Maranh�o, who personally awarded me the certificate of honor.

Presently, I am enrolled in the Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS) honors program in economics/mathematics at Northwestern University. A review of my official high school records will provide more information regarding my achievements and accomplishments.
