It is a region of highly competitive entrepreneurs, small start-up companies and other educational and political resources that allows them to have dominance in this area. This paper will discuss the different demographic, market, legal and political characteristics of Silicon Valley. A conclusion will address the competitors and potential draws for Silicon Valley where other clusters are concerned. The huge market potential is one of the biggest reasons for the success of Silicon Valley.
