Meyers-Briggs Assessment

This is an excerpt from the paper...

The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) assesses personal style or type across four dimensions. The MBTI provides the individual with his or her “type” across four sets of preferences. My answers to the MBTI questions came out the type known as Extraverted Intuition with Thinking (ENTP). Being an ENTP means that my natural style or type of interaction encompasses and outgoing, sensitive, thinking nature. ENTP people are energetic and motivated. They believe in the worth of their ideas and are tireless in tackling challenges that stand in the way of achieving their goals. ENTP people also motivate others, and their ability to perceive well helps them understand others as opposed to judging them. When it comes to decisions, ENTP people often rely on logic and thinking as opposed to emotion and sensing. The occupations that seem most suited for someone of my type (ENTP) are those that require innovation, action, and resolution of problems. Routine, humdrum occupations that seldom offer such challenges would not be suitable for my natural preferences. Occupations like manager, diplomat, mediator, scientist, inventor or others similar to these would be well-suited to the ENTP persona. Jobs such as working on an assembly line, order processor or others would not be well-suited to the ENTP persona.
