The mathematics department run by the chairman Professor Robert Kirk is facing a series of problems that need addressed. The main problems facing Professor Kirk in the mathematics department are as follows: Job dissatisfaction among employees.
The problems facing Professor Kirk can be resolved through a variety of strategies. The first must be the creation of a sound policy on sexual harassment, including a memo to all professors about the use of sexist language when dealing with female employees. So, too, morale will be heightened by Professor Kirk issuing a memo to all professors that detail the duties of the secretaries at all levels (I, II, Supervisor and Administrative). The secretaries should not be used by the professors in any manner that is not listed in their job descriptions.
One the sexism issue has been addressed, Professor Kirk needs to work on increasing productivity, increasing morale and lowering employee turnover.
