My ultimate career goal is to work as a marriage and family therapist, with a focus on working with children aged three to 18, along with their parents. To me, helping children to grow up in a healthy and nurturing environment has often been a key concern for me. Since their future development as adults is affected by what happens to them in their early years, children need to receive timely intervention in order to prevent them from succumbing to the negative influences in their lives. As a marriage and family therapist, I would play an important role in contributing to the positive development of young children in crisis and transforming their lives.
