KSA#1 Knowledge of Management Analysis
My education has provided me with formal knowledge in business management and human relations. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from Campbell University in 2000. I earned a Masters' degree in Human Relations from the University of Oklahoma in 2002. I am also pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
Furthermore, as a Well-Being Program Manager/Management Specialist (5/02-Present) with the 233rd Base Support Battalion (BSB) at Darmstadt, Germany, I have assisted in the development, implementation and assessment of a Department of the Army program to enhance the provision of well-being services to a variety of army personnel and their families. To perform these functions successfully, I have had to demonstrate my theoretical knowledge of management and organizations, utilize data analysis and evaluation techniques, and display my experiential knowledge of administrative polices and procedures.
KSA#2 Knowledge of automation (software, operating systems, etc.)
Throughout my working life, I have acquired tremendous experience in automated systems. As a Military Pay Technician (12/02 to 11/02) for the 39th Finance B-Detachment Input Output Processor (IOP) at Darmstadt, I utilized the organization's automated military pay system to input pay transactions and review various pay authorization documents. In addition, as the Women, Infants and Children Overseas (WICO) Administrator (11/02-5/03) of Choctaw Management Services at Darmstadt, I used the computer to prepare daily statistics on participant services and transfer data to the central WICO office via modem. In my current capacity as a Well-Being Program Manager, I frequently utilize automated systems to analyze data gathered from my clients in order to determine the effectiveness of the program.
