Customer Analysis Survey on New Airline

This research presents the results of a customer analysis. The analysis was performed in conjunction with the proposed organization and implementation of a new passenger airline company. The methodology employed in the conduct of the customer analysis is explained first, and this explanation is followed by the results of the analysis.

A consumer survey was used as the primary methodological basis for the collection of the data required for the customer analysis. The survey was conducted at Los Angeles International Airport. In the passenger terminal lobby, at a point relatively near to the checkin counters of American, Delta, and United airlines, individuals were stopped at random, and asked if they would agree to participate in the survey. If they agreed to participate, they were asked if they were at the airport to checkin for a flight. If they responded negatively, they were thanked for their time, and asked no further questions. Such individuals were not included in the survey. If they responded positively, they were asked the questions included in the survey questionnaire. When an individual had responded to all of the survey questionnaire items, the

1 2researcher thanked the participant, and sought out another individual in the lobby, where the procedure just described was repeated. This procedure was repeated, until a total of 15 individuals had responded to the survey questionnaire.

These factors were price, safety, and service.
