This is ironic because it is argued that therapists, particularly Gestalt therapists, are unconsciously working on the front lines of the environmental crisis. They are seeing some of the primary casualties of that crisis and they are treating some of the most scarred and maimed cases of environmental degradation. The author urges psychologists to become involved with the environmental movement. "Ecopsychology" is the name most often used for the merger of psychological and ecological concerns. Issues are outlined concerning what psychologists can teach ecologists and what ecologists can teach psychologists. 9550521 EMBASE No: 95122538 EAP research: The state of the art Kotschessa B. 3722 South Grandview Drive, Tempe, AZ 85282 USA Employee Assistance Quarterly (USA) , 1994, 10/2 (6372) CODEN: EAQUE ISSN: 07490003 LANGUAGES: English SUMMARY LANGUAGES: English SUBFILES: 035 Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) are a popular form of employee benefit that provides counseling services for employees with
