Maricopa Manor is an independent living facility for clients aged 60 years and older who require assisted or supervised living. Maricopa Manor is an ideal environment for seniors who are ambulatory (with or without devices such as walkers and canes) and who have minimal medication restrictions. Maricopa Manor is not a full-service nursing home, but instead can serve as a transitional facility for those adults who are no longer able to remain in their own homes, or who are no longer comfortable doing so.

Maricopa Manor offers supervision 24-hours a day, seven days a week, and provides semi-private and private rooms in a residential environment. Meals, activities, laundry services, outings and personal care are all provided at Maricopa Manor, which also focuses on maintaining personal dignity and independence. The facility features a swimming pool as well as a whirlpool, and is located in an area where residents can take walks around the neighborhood for their health, as well.

Because of the limited number of adults in the facility, Maricopa is able to promote a "family" environment rather than an "institutional" environment, and clients are encouraged to participate in social activities as much as possible. Meals are served in a common dining room, and the parlor has a game table and television to encourage socialization. Transportation to and from the local community college and senior center is also provided so that residents can take advantage of classes and activities at those locations.

Maricopa Manor is organized as a forprofit corporation. This form of organization was chosen over a sole proprietorship or partnership because of the legal protection offered by the corporation.
