I firmly believe that the idea of "leadership" is one of the most misused and misunderstood concepts in our society today. I don't believe that leadership is simply getting other people to follow you. My personal high school and community service background have allowed me to discover that true leadership is motivating people to take action to create something that helps them become better, safer citizens, and more committed to understanding our world and how it affects our generation.
