NHL Luxury Box Proposal
This is an excerpt from the paper...
This research presents a proposal for a study that will investigate the probable effects of the introduction of the luxury box concept into the operation of the National Hockey League (NHL). In this introductory section, the statement of the problem, statement of purpose, definitions of terms, and limitations of the proposed study are presented, along with a preview of the remainder of the proposed study.Commercial sports, commonly referred to as professional sports in North America, long ago were transformed into business ventures competing in the entertainment industry, although a facade of promoting family values and social unity was maintained to retain public support. By basing the findings of this study on the perceptions of knowledgeable people engaged in commercial sports franchise management, however, an attempt will be made to minimize the effects of this limitation, to assure that the findings of the proposed study will not be compromised.
Preview of the Remainder of the Study
A preliminary review of relevant literature is presented in the following section of this proposal. A more complete literature review will be a part of the final report of the research that will be performed for the proposed study. A preliminary description of the methodology that will be followed in the conduct of the proposed study is presented in Section 3 of this proposal. A complete description and explanation of the methodology actually followed in the conduct of the proposed research will be a part of the final report of the study findings.
