Youth Celebrating Courage and Freedom is a scholarship fund for America's children. The target audience is high school students. These students can come from a variety of backgrounds to include those who are adopted, in foster care, homeless, and those who have special or financial needs. The child can be gifted and talented or be at risk for school problems. The child can have good or poor grades. The goal of the scholarship fund is to provide students with an opportunity to attend a two- or four-year colleges or trade schools or an apprenticeship program.

The mission statement for the fund is as follows: The mission of this fund is to provide high school students of all backgrounds and needs with future academic or trade opportunities. It is the hope that this fund will allow America's students to select from appropriate instructional situations that encourage and motivate each child to learn and grow. In this way each student will have access to a learning environment that will stimulate and nurture their physical, intellectual, creative, emotional, social, and moral development. Students provided with opportunities will learn to become productive citizens. Colleges, trade schools, and apprenticeships allow for students to communicate, cooperate, and work with educators and employers in a manner that helps to ensure their future employment ability.
