Microsoft and Longhorn

Introduction: According to an article written by Brent Schlender and published in Fortune (2002), Microsoft has been developing new operating system called Longhorn for several years. This operating system is revolutionary, not evolutionary. At its simplest, Longhorn will be the next generation of the Windows operating system.
