This paper addresses the problem that indigenous people in Mexico are suffering about. Mexico is a multi-cultured, and politically motivated country. As such, it has a history of indigenous neglect. Why and how did this occur? First and foremost, the evolution of the Mexican State has a bearing on the current condition what Mexico is all about (Camp 40-44).

Mexico is a country that has experienced many troubles. Its rich cultural and historical heritage is without a doubt reflected in today's economic and political arena.

However, within this context, Mexico's history has also displayed a vast panorama of conflicts, most notably toward its own citizens.
