The planning appraises the full potential of a business and links the business's objectives to the actions and resources required to achieve them. A successful strategic planning process for the ABC Day Care Center will include all of the following elements:

Analyze the company's strengths and weaknesses relative to competitors;

Develop an appropriate business model that enable ABC Daycare to compete effectively with other centers and with in home daycare;

Establish clear objectives for the business, and develop plans, policies and programs to implement the strategy;
