The results of an interview of an elderly person, together with a preliminary assessment (interviewer's reaction) of that person is presented in this research. These data are presented within the contexts of (1) identifying data, (2) description, (3) family history, (4) life style changes, (5) perception of aging, and (6) interviewer's reaction.

Personal characteristics of the person interviewed are presented in this section. These characteristics range are primarily demographic in character.

The subject of this interview is a male. He is a physically active person.

The subject of this interview is 72 years old. He is nearer to 72 years old than to 73 years old.

The subject of this interview is a Caucasian. Ethnically, he is an Irish-American.

The subject of this interview is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is not especially active in the local Mormon stake.
