Screenplay Presentation: An Analysis No Future

No Future for You is a screenplay set in Florence, Italy, which centers on the ambitions of a young man, Haven, a 22-year-old American, who wishes to become a paparazzo. In the belief that he is apprenticing for a well-known Italian paparazzo named Giovani Vasari, Haven stalks and photographs a young female opera diva named Adriana Catalani. In the process, he uncovers a plot by the singerÆs husband to have her killed; his efforts thwart the murder attempt, and it is revealed that Vasari is the singerÆs father; Vasari has been using Haven to protect his daughter from harm, and in the process has created a paparazzo likely to rival himself.
