Pro President George W. Bush Essay

This is an excerpt from the paper...

The 21st century has so far been mired in conflict and hostility, and the United States has unwittingly been drawn into the fray. Americans, their homeland attacked in devastating fashion on September 11, have been forced to contend with new wave of frightening national security issues, burgeoning ideological opposition to liberty and democracy in much of the Islamic world, the threat of nuclear proliferation in rogue states, and an economic downturn at home. It is a time that calls for resolve, fortitude, hope and most of all, faith. It is a time that demands bold leadership and a steady hand. It is a time that encourages all Americans to vest their faith in their commander in chief: their president, George W. Bush. It is in the best interest of all Americans that President Bush be allowed to continue to implement his policies both at home and abroad. This means working together to ensure his reelection in 2004.

However, it is crucial that the United States continue to lead the charge as a representative of freedom and as an advocate of liberty. As important as it is to stay the course overseas, it is just as important to build a stronger America at home. President Bush has taken great strides to do this very thing. On May 28, 2003, President Bush signed into law a jobs and growth plan designed to boldly strengthen the economy and provide for its continued growth (www.georgewbush.com). The objective of the planùto create an America in which every citizen who wants to work will be able to find a jobùreceived bipartisan endorsement in the House and Senate (www.georgewbush.com). The Jobs and Growth Act of 2003 now has the support it needs to begin working for America. The American economy now needs time to reap the rewards. This naturally demands that the current administration remain current, and that the half-baked plans of President Bush's shortsighted opponents not be i
