Bradford Boyd (1989, p. 324) said that leadership is, sim ply, "getting people to work to achieve the goals of the enter prise. It's giving people something to work for." Boyd, thus, appeared to support the concept of leadership as a science, something that can be taught and learned.
Sven Lundstedt's (1975) of leadership supports and enhances that of Boyd. Lundstedt (1975, p. 164) said that
