Mexico, Guatemala & Germany Resources

This is an excerpt from the paper...

This paper will research the food, clothing, currency, and natural resources of Mexico, Guatemala, and Germany to show that even with all the data out there, this simple information can be found easily via an Internet search.

The basic staple food of Mexico is corn, specifically in the form of corn tortillas, a flat round bread used to make tacos, burritos, and quesadillas as well as other dishes. Other staples include beans, rice, and tomatoes (Mexweb.com, 2004). The traditional clothing in Mexico consists of a skirt for women or of loose fitting pants for men; a sombrero, which is a large-brimmed hat with a tall crown; a huipil, which is a square cut blouse garment worn by women; the quechquemitl, which is a cape like garment also worn by women; and sandals (Yale-New Haven Teachers Institute, 2004). The currency used in Mexico is the Mexican Peso and it is currently exchanged at 9.203 pesos to the U.S. dollar (Universal Currency Converter, 2004). Natural resources in Mexico include petroleum, silver, copper, gold, lead, zinc, natural gas, and timber (Infoplease, 2004)
