General Electric Company. General Electric is a conglomerate corporation that operates is eight major industries. While the company may be best known to consumers for appliances and lighting, it major operations are in financial services and transportation products.

Oracle Corporation. Oracle is a major software creator and marketer. The company focuses on enterprise-level software applications.

The evaluation considers each corporate Web site separately. A comparative evaluation is not the primary focus of this research, although the conclusion provides brief comparisons.
