But where accounting becomes economics and economics becomes the basis for analyzing unemployment, or where computer access is a feature of social divisions between those who can afford computers and those who cannot, these seemingly straightforward disciplines impinge on the realm of the indeterminate, where sometimes fractious, though rational and organized, discourse delivers the message that single, unambiguous answers to complex questions may not exist.
