Business Research Article Synopsis

A Comparison of Academic Dishonesty among Business Students in a Public and Private Catholic University by Bob S. Brown and Peggy Choong (2003) is a qualitative, nonexperimental survey research. In the wake of recent corporate scandals, corporations and researchers have turned their focus to management ethics. The purpose of this study by Brown and Choong (2003) is to "compare the academic dishonesty of business administration majors at a state university and a private Catholic university" (28). The comparison is sought to determine any relationship between the secular or religious status of a school and academic dishonesty.
