Abstract: Modern corporations must cope with the twin evils ambiguity and complexity, and experience shows that for the most part they do not do this well. Serious problems ensue when leaders fail to recognize problems or address them properly, yet for all their efforts to the contrary, many leaders are simply clueless about what is happening in their companies or how to handle the problems. J.P. Kotter introduces concepts to help leaders cope with these issues and overcome the ôcurse of cluelessness.ö
