The attempt to redefine the process of aging, in shifting terminology from elderly to aged, involves a concomitant concern with how to readdress the new resulting ethical issues. This burgeoning field of tracing out the implications of the rights of the aged automatically links itself to ethics, to charting out new territory for what is the right action to pursue in caretaking for America's older generations.
