Brain, Mind, and Behavior

mind, physical brain, and behavior enlarges the grasp of human thinking and actions.

This particular text is written on the premise that all the normal functions of the brain and disorders of the disease brain, even those that are quite complex, are ultimately explainable in terms of the structure of the brain itself. This type of knowledge has the result of removing fear in areas that might prove scary or unapproachable in connection with understanding oneself or others. Even persons who have grave mental, behavioral, or physical disorders become less apart if there is a known reason for the aberration.

Anyone who is interested in being alive and in exploring the nature of life around oneself would likely be curious about the functions of the brain, even if the basic premise might not be accepted. Information of this sort can be viewed as certain persons' opinions and compared with one's own values and beliefs. This increased knowledge about what scientists say and find regarding brain-mind functions enhances security in operating in the world, and this end result of this type of study can only benefit all concerned.

Although the neurons share some characteristics in common with other body cells, they differ in their highly irregular shapes. The protruding axon and dendrite structures have been called the living wires which connect neural activity in something like an electrical circuit (34). It seems reasonable to guess that such a large number of neurons are necessary because the job of the neurons is quite complex.
