Second, feedback was observed to be more effective in terms of increasing both work performance and motivation when it was provided by multiple supervisors/managers. In other words, employees listen better to two or more supervisors than they do to only one supervisor. It was also observed that feedback was positively correlated with worker job satisfaction.

All of the observed feedback effects were found for feedback consisting of a mixture of both negative and positive remarks. However, Wanguri (1995) reported that due to many methodological flaws in the existing research, more tightly controlled research needs to be conducted before any strong conclusions can be made.
