r-based problems in their work life. The problems that will be examined are: (1) salaries that are not commensurate with male managers; (2) lack of mentoring; (3) restriction of upward mobility; (4) difficulties meeting work schedules due to family role pressures; and (5) sexual harassment.

Demographic, occupational, family upbringing and education factors will then be examined for systematic relationships with degree of perceived gender-based problems. Based on the findings of these analyses, conducted using the conceptual foundation of the Systems Approach, a series of recommendations will be formulated for resolving gender-based problems experienced by female managers.
