One of the research studies was conducted by Dafna Lemish, which evaluated the impact of the introduction of the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) program to Israeli TV. Using a nationwide survey of elementary school principals, teacher and students, Lemish discovered that over half of the principals reported problems caused by the imitation of WWF style of fighting in school.
