It is hypothesized that higher levels of patient satisfaction with the level and quality of communications between patient and professional medical care giver will be associated with generally positive attitudes by the patient towards her professional medical care givers. Patient satisfaction with communication between themselves and medical professional care givers has been found to benefit therapy (Bensing, 1991, pp. 1301 1310).
