The size of the effect did differ with differences in design (study characteristics) such that the size of the effect diminished as the degree of methodological sophistication of the study increased. Journal. This journal covered a wide variety of psychological topics and areas and did not limit itself to family dynamics. The articles showed a good deal of variance in length but were uniformly of good quality.

Also, a preliminary review indicated that almost every article was clearly organized and clearly written. Thus, even very technical and sophisticated research was rendered easily readable. This journal would probably be a "must have" for most professional's libraries.
