The data required for this study were collected from two samples of the civilian employees at Hill Air Force Base. The first employee population was composed of nonsupervisory employees in Government Service (GS) grade levels four through nine, while the second employee population was composed of supervisory employees in GS levels 11 through 13. Two samples composed of 35 individuals each were selected from the two populations through the application of random procedures. The required data were collected through the administration of survey questionnaires. Subject confidentiality was preserved by assuring that no data were recorded or collected which would permit the identification of specific questionnaire responses to specific individuals.
