puts his hand on Mrs. Lupien’s wheelchair and tries to push her wheelchair when the meeting ends – after she has expressed she does not need such assistance. Credibility is lost because of these fumbled approaches, and the situation loses further credibility when Gaetano mentions how his father trusts his accountant more than his professional son. He does this after Mrs. Lupien has already made a veiled threat to transfer her husband’s accounts to her children’s accountant. Aside from these errors, Gaetano is quick to point out the legal duties of his professions and his professional obligation to act in her best interest. However, his timing is poor and he only informs her of this after she says her children think handling the accounts through someone else is a better approach. This creates suspicion as to motive.

PART THREE – Body of the Interview

Gaetano does not effectively question Mrs. Lupien. While he does ask her is she wishes to keep the same goals as her husband, Gaetano does not ask open-ended questions. He is on the defensive from the beginning and the interview dissolves into a series of attacks from Mrs. Lupien with him fishing around for explanations.
