No one can deny the fact that new technologies have certainly afforded the capability for educational institutions to lower costs, increase access and promote new kinds of learning. The problem becomes, is this what is being achieved in reality?
There are some who would argue with the above perspective of distance education. They feel it is not less costly than traditional forms of education.
