Technology & Job-Training

This is an excerpt from the paper...

The follow research study is designed to test the following hypothesis: Technology is increasingly being used to train employees, but the effectiveness of such methods often rely on the understanding and technological training of those performing the training or devising the training technology. Included in the analysis is a description of the current state of technology oriented training. Also included are the different methods of technology being used to implement training programs, from video training tapes to CD-ROM training software. The research includes a discussion of the methods and procedures used by the researcher to confirm or refute the proposed hypothesis. For example, many companies are using video tapes to train employees, to the point where many are even producing their own training videos. Within this technology the idea of standardizing training regardless of the instructor is incorporated. However, despite the effectiveness of video training, experts warn that without proper design and planning, the finished product might be sending the wrong message, “Savvy managers know that training videos are a powerful tool. How can you go wrong when delivering the exact, concise, instructional module to every employee e
