Despite the numerous benefits that accrue from the use of telecommuting, the scenario is not all rosy at this point in its development. For one thing technologies are still imperfect that permit telecommuting. Server failures, cells phones that fade, software that doesn’t integrate well with other software, slow download times due to lack of broadband width and other problems with technology are still the norm and not the exception.
