This site was the site of the Library of Congress - American Memory website so would be expected to have a wealth of information on both these subjects, but this was not the case. There were only four items on the site relating to Harriet Tubman and non relating to the Cherokee "Trail of Tears." The site was a little difficult to get used to and find your way around. It is necessary to keep going to subheading after subheading to find anything, and then nothing is presented on the page. You have to look for another sign which is actually back at the top of the page which says "View this article." You don't know ahead of time what you are going to be looking at, and often times it is a picture rather than text. If you are familiar with the site it would be easy to navigate through but if you are not, it is not easy.
