C. Teen parents who cannot provide a nurturing environment for their children will adversely affect the latter's development, thus perpetuating the cycle of poverty and teen pregnancy.

VI. Groups such as parents and religious groups raise arguments against school-based sex education.

The value-neutral quality of sex education does not teach students to understand the trust and commitment involved in intimate relationships.

Sex education promotes sexual activity for pleasure.

VII. Conclusion: Sex education should still be mandated in secondary schools for sex education.

In spite of the opponents' arguments, sex education should be implemented for the aforementioned reasons.

Because of their developmental phase, young people aged 12 and over will be curious about human sexuality.

In order to prevent them from experiencing the adverse effects of sex, all young people should have access to accurate information from schools to deter them from engaging in risky behavior and destroying their future.
