VCR. They are also very adept at using the computer, specifically the students with Asperger's Syndrome. So very often, I modify the assignments to let them work on the computer, do research or type their assignments. When they need a break, the computer is also a good tool for them.
8. In promoting a multicultural and multilingual environment, I think my best practices are the utilization of a wide variety of texts from different cultures for English class and classroom discussion. In classroom discussions, I often ask the students to talk about their backgrounds and tie them into the texts.
