Thus, in this study's report of findings regarding depression levels among adolescent females in urban and rural schools, these factors have to be considered in drawing conclusions.
In the search of the literature conducted for this study, the first finding of significance was that there were no direct comparisons of the depression levels of adolescent females attending urban and rural schools. What this means is that the answer to the study's question of whether depression levels differ in association with differences in school type (rural vs. urban) had to be looked for using studies that did not directly measured these variables. Instead, the answer had to be found, as best as possible, through an examination of research that studied related or associated factors.
