This is an excerpt from the paper...
Symantec was founded in 1982, and is based on the products developed by Peter Norton, Norton Utilities and Norton Anti-Virus. Its main thrust is still computer security. and antivirus software. In July of that year, together with a six-man team, Carr and company released the original Framework. Framework, was probably the first office suite - an integrated word processor, outliner, mini-database and spreadsheet program.
