Frequent reviews should be performed every one to three months, and should include inspection of the patients' feet and footwear, and a review of the need for vascular assessment, intensified foot care education, the use of specialized footwear and insoles, and skin and nail care. People with disabilities or immobility will require special arrangements to ensure they have access to a foot protection team.
