One point that may be noted about the research examining for relationships between student demographics and degree of interest in vocational objectives is that a good deal of the has restricted itself to examining only one or two basic interests or areas of interest, e.g., interest in engineering, interest in the health professions. This study seeks to expand the existing knowledge base by assessing for relationships between student demographics and their degree of interest in 18 vocational objectives. The study should, therefore, provide a more comprehensive understanding of the contribution of student demographics to their general overall interest in vocational objectives.
