This topic is one that bears further in-depth investigation, much of it beyond the scope of a paper of this length. For this paper, a number of sources were investigated, mostly consisting of management journals and computer technology magazines. A wide number of articles were read on the topics of labor/management issues, Generation X, entrepreneurship, and so on.

The information selected was that which referred to worker's attitudes and the challenges of finding and keeping IT workers. Also, a study of what colleges should offer to train people for the career fields connected with IT was considered. In this analysis, the following structure will be used: a) parameters of the Internet, b) impact of the Internet on all types of companies, and c) connecting management and labor together.
