Thus, the first criterion for acceptance of the hypothesis was met. The mean weighted provider score in the United States was 33.53, while the mean weighted provider score in Brazil was 45.61. Thus, Brazilian providers were more critical of hospital nursing services delivered than were their American counterparts, and thus held lower perceptions of the level of delivered nursing services than did American providers. The second criterion for acceptance of the hypothesis was met. Therefore, by inference, hypothesis number two was accepted.
