It is theorized that this organizational climate allows for increased organizational output and the growth of competence in the employees with a sense of well-being as employees develop a feeling of being a partner with the organization.

Study results have provided inconclusive information regarding the effects of work teams on organizational and employee outcomes, with mixed results indicating that in some cases work teams may even be unproductive. The findings from this study will provide an additional understanding of what group factors are related to successful outcomes for organizations and employees. This understanding is needed to help organizations best utilize the team approach and to guide future directions for research.
